What is Required?
General Conditions for Obtaining a Tourist Guide License
Tourist Guide Exam
Candidates must pass a professional tourist guide exam before the competent authority. The exam tests knowledge in history, culture, geography, and legislation.
Licensed Guide for the Region — Adriatic Croatia
After passing the exam, a tourist guide license is issued for the Adriatic Croatia region, covering coastal and island counties.
Joining DTVS
Once licensed, you can submit an application and become a member of the Association of Tourist Guides Split. The annual membership fee is paid from January 1st to March 31st each year.
Membership Fee Note
The annual membership fee must be paid between January 1st and March 31st of the current year to remain an active member of the association for that year. For all inquiries, please write to info@guides.hr.

Membership Fee Note
Regardless of the joining date during the year, each new member pays the full annual membership fee for the calendar year. Membership fees for subsequent years are paid from January 1st to March 31st.

Membership Fee Payment Deadline
